An avid athlete at 16 started her 1st of 6 knee surgeries and 10 years of rehab from a soccer accident. Dr. Mary Devereaux is dedicated and passionate about helping others achieve physical and emotional goals beyond their expectations.
Mary received a Bachelor of Science from University of Central Florida, and achieved her degree as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Physician from the Florida College of Integrated Medicine. She continued her education at the Pacific College of Health and Sciences in California for a doctorate in acupuncture and oriental medicine.
Though doctors told Mary she would not walk without a limp and that she needed a total knee by the time she was 30, she instead started playing tennis at 30. Achieving a USTA rating of 4.5, she is still working to achieve a 5.0 rating for at least one season! Even though most of all her meniscus was taken out, she has no swelling or pain. She believes to never give up on your body and never call a body part “bad”. One of her favorite quotes is “Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food.” A quote attributed to Hippocrates, the founder of modern medicine.
Her concierge work is aligned to provide expert health options and natural treatments year round and based on science.
Dr. Devereaux is thankful for a relationship with God that works through her patients and in her personal life.
